Taylor Arnt
Taylor Arnt (she/they) is a writer, speaker and activist of mixed Anishinaabe-European heritage whose work explores themes related to identity, wellbeing, and social and climate justice. They hold a Master of Arts in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice from The University of British Columbia. This is Taylor’s third report for the Canadian Women’s Foundation. How the project works
My project engages the arts and wellness communities of Winnipeg in a multimedia show, happening in May 2025 and again in July 2025.

The impact of my project will be connecting people and proving to them that a thriving arts and wellness community exists here in Winnipeg.
Project Mission
My project's mission is to host organized arts and wellness events that bring together a breathwork facilitator, four piece jazz band, twelve poets and a DJ to each share their art forms. My goal is to build a thriving arts community in Winnipeg.
Project Team
I am the team lead, organizing financials, grant funding, logistics and hosting the event. Scott is the owner of the venue and is handling staffign, food and drinks, and audio/visual setup.
