Tajveer Grewal

As a young community leader, I am passionate about bringing people together to promote health, education, and cultural connection. I currently serve as President of the UBC Bhangra Club, where I work with a dedicated team to organize events that celebrate Punjabi culture while raising funds for charitable causes. I am also involved with the Punjabi Community Health Association, where I help support initiatives that improve health awareness in the Punjabi community. In addition, I founded the Abbotsford Smile Foundation in high school, which distributes care packages to individuals experiencing homelessness. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong commitment to service, collaboration, and creating meaningful impact in my community.

Abbotsford Smile Foundation Care Package

Abbotsford Smile Foundation Care Package is a community initiative dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Abbotsford. Founded by my friends and I in high school, the project organizes volunteers to assemble and distribute care packages containing essential items such as hygiene products, food, and warm clothing. Over the past six years, the initiative has distributed more than 800 care packages through over $7500 in grant funding, helping bring comfort, dignity, and support to vulnerable members of the community.
