Sidonie Gaulin
Sidonie Gaulin holds a certificate in creative writing from Université du Québec in Montréal, and a BFA from Concordia University. She is the creator of the podcast "Les Impostures", a project that showcases emerging voices in contemporary art. She is also editor and co-founder of "Éditions du drame", an emerging publishing house that promotes interdisciplinarity through the encounter of sensibilities. She is passionate about feminist projects, creative research and the potential of the sound medium.
Les Impostures Arts et culture
Les Impostures is a feminist podcast about artistic creation that gives a voice to women and gender minorities to talk about the creative process behind one of their works, in any medium. Two seasons have been produced independently in 2021 and 2022 in Montreal, and the current season bridges the gap to Marseille.

How the project works
The project has been in the pre-production/research phase since April, and episodes will be recorded from May to the end of July, in a community radio station. Publication will begin on June 1st, and continue until the end of August.
Project Impact
Les Impostures gives a voice to emerging contemporary artists who are often marginalized in the media and public sphere.
Project Mission
The project's mission is to get the audience thinking about the relationship between gender identity and the act of speaking out: to use the spoken word as a vector of empowerment to combat the feeling of impostor syndrome, feeling unworthy and lacking in confidence. The Impostures project also aims to highlight and record through digital audio, the creative work that we don't talk about enough.
