EmpowerHer

EmpowerHer is a community, youth-driven program designed to help island high school students build confidence, personal power, and safety skills through a blend of self-defense training and empowerment workshops. By partnering with local leaders, martial arts professionals, and schools, EmpowerHer is creating safe, supportive spaces where youth can discover their strength, develop leadership skills, and express themselves. EmpowerHer will host one lunch and learn at each high school (Sept-Oct), extending an invitation to students to attend a local day event with workshops, demonstrations, etc (Nov-Dec).

      Project Impact

Empower Her exists to address the lack of safety skills, increase confidence, and empowerment opportunities among high school students in Island communities, fostering environments where they feel strong, secure, and capable of shaping their futures.
