I am a young student aiming to give back to the community and teaching the kids how to behave and become leaders for the next generation.

Youth Muslim Soccer Association

Youth Soccer Association is a low-cost summer soccer program for youth aged 10–13 in underserved communities. Participants join weekly team practices, receive mentorship, and compete in a final community tournament. Run by volunteers and local partners, the program promotes physical health, teamwork, and confidence. Video content will capture the journey to support future outreach and funding, with the goal of making it an annual community tradition.

About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

On Saturdays parents drop their child off at the soccer field and the coaches run a little workout with their assigned teams before their matches. At around 5:30 we finish our first game and head straight to prayer. After prayer, we give the youth a little reminder about life and then start the next game until 7:00.

      Project Impact

The Youth Soccer Association will give kids aged 10–13 a chance to feel included, supported, and excited every week this summer. Many of these youth don’t usually get access to organized sports because of cost or other barriers. This program gives them a team to be part of, mentors who care, and a safe space to grow. By the end of the summer, they'll walk away with new friends, more confidence, and a sense of belonging in their community.

      Project Mission

Youth Soccer Association’s mission is to empower underserved youth aged 10–13 through low-cost, community-driven soccer. The program builds confidence, health, and teamwork through weekly practices, mentorship, and a final tournament.

      Project Team

Community volunteers, coaches, and mentors dedicated to youth development through sport and positive guidance.
