I am a young community leader who is passionate about creating positive change in my local community. I believe that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Through this project, I hope to support individuals experiencing homelessness while also building stronger connections within my community. I am motivated by compassion, empathy, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen and valued. I am excited to continue learning, growing, and finding new ways to support those around me.
Seen & Supported Abbotsford
Seen & Supported Abbotsford is a community-driven initiative that provides care packages filled with essential items and small comforts to people experiencing homelessness in Abbotsford, BC. The project goes beyond basic support by fostering meaningful conversations and human connection during each delivery. Through practical assistance and compassion, it aims to remind individuals that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten by their community.

How the project works
Over a 12-week period, the project will use grant funding to purchase essential items and assemble care packages for people experiencing homelessness in Abbotsford. Volunteers will help prepare and distribute the packages while engaging respectfully with recipients to provide support and build meaningful human connection.

The project’s goal is to distribute at least 50 packages while building respectful human connections and reminding individuals that they are seen, valued, and supported by their community.
