How the project works
SMART 1 Goal Do all the internal structural work to enable us to register as an NPO with the REQ. SMART 2 GoalConsolidate our list of shared creations and produce our first creative project (Bleu 4h du matin/Celui qui lisait les rêves). SMART 3 Goal Structure and launch the first prototype (pilot project) of the project "Vitalisation culturelle autochtone" with the Uashat community.
Project Impact
To become one of the leading creative companies on Turtle Island for the representation and employability of BIPOC and marginalized artists/artisans/cultural managers in the cultural industry and to address several EDI issues in it
Project Mission
Priority 1: Create opportunities for professional development and employability by consolidating a pool of professional BIPOC and marginalized artists, artisans and cultural managers who can respond to the various mandates to which they belong. Priority 2: Promote greater visibility for emerging artists, as well as spaces for learning, employability, professional development, and deepening (mediation, research and exploration) of the artistic approaches of artists, artisans and cultural managers from BIPOC and marginalized communities.
Project Team
Being ourselves members of marginalized cultural communities, we are creators from the communities concerned, and therefore understand and are sensitive to the creative needs of these communities. Therefore, we can ensure better representation of the creative needs of artists in production, as well as better representation within partner organizations seeking to hire these creators.
