Moayeh Océane has a goal as a young leader to serve the community by responding to needs and encourage community members to do the same by using their strengths and talents.

Maintaining good mental health and a balanced life as a law student! Éducation

The project consists of organising a round table discussion between 5 to 6 2nd and 3rd year law students. This event will provide an opportunity to equip the 1st year law students who will attend as listeners. They will then be able to ask questions that so many first-year law students ask themselves during the first week of university; in particular, they will be able to ask questions such as: -How do you manage your reading load in law school? What study techniques have been most useful to you? -How do you manage stress and find a balance between studying and your personal life? -How do you take care of your mental health as a law student? -How do you prepare for classes?

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

  • Racial or visible minorities
  • LGBTQ2+ Community members
  • Indigenous Peoples

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

    How the project works

The project involves organising a round table with around 5 panelists (students) who will share advice. The aim of this project is to offer study techniques and advice to students to help them maintain good mental health during their law studies.

    Project Impact

This event will enable students to advise other students. They will be well equipped by obtaining advice from students and lawyers (at other events) organised within their faculty.

    Project Mission

Its main mission is to equip first-year law students with relevant advice, tailored to their specific circumstances, in order to reduce their stress levels.
