Les Ateliers Sans Limite Justice sociale
"Workshops Without Limits" is an initiative that aims to offer multidisciplinary workshops in sport and culture, while integrating a strong leadership and personal development component. The project brings together young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and young adults with disabilities. It will enable young adults with one or more physical disabilities to enjoy a unique experience that breaks down social isolation and promotes accessibility to culture.

How the project works
Workshops Without Limits will enhance the offer of cultural and artistic activities for young adults with functional limitations and teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds. What's more, we're integrating people with disabilities into the cultural space by recruiting accompanying volunteers to help them overcome motor difficulties and enjoy the many benefits of cultural and artistic activities. Workshops Without Limits are organized around the following cultural disciplines: visual arts, performing arts, music, photography and dance. The project's target beneficiaries are young adults with physical limitations paired with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Both groups face significant socio-economic challenges that affect their access to cultural activities.
Project Impact
This project will have a major impact on our organization, as it will enable us to offer a wider variety of activities to young adults with physical limitations who need a companion to take part in social and cultural activities outside their homes. These activities are generally expensive and not adapted to people with physical disabilities.
Project Mission
Eliminate barriers to participation in sports and cultural activities; Increase the independence, leadership and personal development of young people with physical disabilities; Raise community awareness and create links between people with physical disabilities and the community.
Project Team
We are a team of three.

- Marie-Hélène Tanguy: Coordinate activities and recruit participants
