Magali Mukunzi
I am a public policy professional and community advocate passionate about advancing equity and justice. In my work and volunteer engagements, I focus on addressing systemic barriers that affect Black communities and other marginalized groups. I believe meaningful change happens when institutions listen to communities and work in partnership with them to shape solutions. I am motivated by a strong commitment to fairness, inclusion, and creating spaces where diverse voices can influence decision-making. As a young leader, I am always looking for opportunities to learn from others, build bridges across sectors, and contribute to initiatives that create lasting and positive social change.
PACE 2.0
PACE Magazine is a youth-led publication highlighting the creativity, culture, and perspectives of young people in Ottawa. Through stories on arts, community life, and local voices, the project creates a platform where youth can feel seen, heard, and celebrated. By combining digital storytelling with a community relaunch event, the magazine aims to showcase the city’s vibrant youth culture.
