Lul Roble

My name is Lul Roble, and I am a young community leader passionate about creating opportunities that uplift and empower women. I believe in using practical skills as a pathway to confidence, independence, and community growth. Through my work, I strive to build supportive spaces where women can learn, connect, and unlock their potential while also giving back to those in need. By combining creativity, leadership, and compassion, I aim to inspire others to see that small initiatives can spark meaningful change.

Stirring Change

Stirring Change is a community-based initiative that uses cooking as a tool for empowerment. Through hands-on classes, women come together to learn practical skills, build confidence, and connect with one another in a supportive environment. Beyond the kitchen, the project creates pathways toward independence and personal growth, while also giving back, with a portion of the food donated to local shelters. By blending creativity, skill-building, and community care, Stirring Change helps women nourish both their futures and their communities.

About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

From October 2025 to February 2026, Stirring Change will host monthly cooking classes featuring Somali, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine. Each hands-on session empowers women to learn practical skills, build confidence, and share culture, while fostering connection and giving back through donations to local shelters.

      Project Impact

Stirring Change creates lasting impact by empowering women with practical cooking skills, cultural exchange, and confidence-building experiences. Beyond the kitchen, participants form supportive networks, strengthen independence, and give back through contributions to local shelters. By blending creativity, community, and care, the project nourishes both personal growth and collective well-being.

      Project Mission

Stirring Change’s mission is to use cooking as a tool for empowerment and connection. Our goals are to equip women with valuable skills, celebrate cultural diversity through shared recipes, and foster supportive networks. By pairing hands-on learning with community giving, we aim to nourish confidence, independence, and collective growth.

      Project Team

I will be teaming up with a local women's organization called "sisters connect". We will collab and run this program together.
