Luckshika Ravinthiran

My name is Luckshika Ravinthiran and I am a young community leader. I am passionate about education, creativity and entrepreneurship. As a reading mentor, I teach young English students read, while also creating accessible learning content. I am leading a collaborative writing project to amplify the voices of high schoolers. I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship, which grew when I was the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Junior Achievement, where I learned the true power of innovation. I was able to create a eco-friendly product, collaborating with Food Secure Canada to promote food sustainability which grew my passion to support my community.

The Entrepreneurship Hub

The Entrepreneurship Hub is a program where people are able to learn more about the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through hands on lessons and mentorship. Business owners from Scarborough are able to utilize these lessons to grow and further develop their businesses, benefitting the economy. The project aims to empower Scarborough youth by providing them with resources and a supportive environment.
