I am half Indian and Ethiopian and Calgary resident who is looking to make a more active and community-oriented BIPOC space in my city. I lead a run club with 3 other organizers in the Calgary area. When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
We will help to facilitate weekly runs on Thursday's, the upkeep of the runclub, and also have a celebration event for the run club which will be some sort of activity done together as a group.

The grant will be help with reducing barriers to entry in the running community by creating a space for BIPOC and allies.

Our Mission is to empower and educate BIPOC people interested in running by infusing joy, celebration and community.
