Kiana Mistry

I’m a high school student who enjoys taking on leadership roles and responsibilities within my school and community. Whether it’s through student council, peer mentoring, or volunteering, I love helping others, bringing people together, and making a positive impact. I'm passionate about creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels heard and supported. Being a young leader motivates me to keep learning, growing, and inspiring others to do the same.

Art For Mind: Creative Wellness Workshops

Art For Mind: Creative Wellness Workshops empowers youth to express emotions and build community through hands-on art activities focused on mental health. These safe, supportive spaces encourage self-reflection, stress relief, and open conversations—using creativity as a tool for healing and connection.

About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

Youth will attend art-based mental health workshops over 4 weeks, engaging in guided activities like painting, journaling, and collaborative pieces. Each session creates a supportive space for self-expression, connection, and open conversations about mental well-being.

      Project Impact

This project helps youth explore mental health through creativity, reducing stigma and promoting emotional expression. It builds confidence, encourages peer support, and leaves participants with tools to manage stress, feel heard, and know they’re not alone.

      Project Mission

The mission of Art For Mind is to support youth mental health through creativity. The goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces where young people can express themselves, build resilience, and connect with others—using art as a way to heal, reflect, and grow emotionally.

      Project Team
