Jonah Toth
Jonah is the founder and executive director of passion2action, a grassroots youth empowerment organization working to foster the next generation of community leaders and active citizens in Saskatchewan. He is driven to help youth people realize their incredible potential to enact positive change and works to encourage local action to create global impacts. To date, the organization has impacted more than 28,000 young people in Saskatchewan through its events and programming. Jonah works at the Saskatchewan Community Foundation where he builds collaboration in the charitable sector, supports municipalities in sustaining our communities, and helps guide collective impact. He is an active volunteer in the community and serves on multiple boards.
passion2action EXPEDITIONS
passion2action EXPEDITIONS is an invitation for Saskatchewan youth to begin their volunteer journey as part of a community of peers. The program aims to foster a community of young, active citizens and break down the barriers to youth volunteerism. Over the course of a few months, the cohort will be introduced to various local organizations through facilitated volunteer engagements. passion2action EXPEDITIONS hopes to help young people explore their passions, discover local organizations, and kickstart lifelong volunteerism.

How the project works
passion2action EXPEDITIONS coordinates weekly volunteer engagements with local charitable organizations for a cohort of youth volunteers. Over the course of a few months, the cohort will have the opportunity to try volunteering at various organizations and form a community with other young people committed to creating community impact.
Project Impact
In the short-term, passion2action EXPEDITIONS will foster a community of young volunteers and provide grassroots, local charities with much-needed volunteer support. The hope is that these young people will continue to volunteer, build important skills for career readiness, and become lifelong community leaders and active citizens.
Project Mission
The goal of passion2action EXPEDITIONS is to help foster the next generation of lifelong volunteers and active citizens in our province. By helping to reduce the barriers to youth volunteerism, young people will be able to get involved with local organizations and discover the incredible impacts of volunteering – both for them personally and the community.
