Jessica Flammia
Jessica is a scientist and researcher in Windsor Ontario. Her academic background in health sciences and program evaluation has augmented the skills she developed supporting her community in various ways. As a young community leader, Jessica's main goals include supporting youth in her community to ensure they can reach their full potential and have all the same opportunities she did growing up. By giving them the opportunity to try new things, youth will develop skills and knowledge beyond their wildest expectations while learning and building memories with those around them along the way. Jessica aims to build resources for respect and sustainability in everything she does.
The Birthday Project
The Birthday Project is a social initiative that aims to ensure families that regularly access our local food banks have the supplies necessary to celebrate their children's birthdays. The packages available will include boxed cake mix, icing, candles, and party decorations (balloons, streamers) - everything necessary to put together a birthday party and create happy memories.
