Jermaine Hall
I’m a young community leader who’s passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered. I enjoy bringing people together around shared goals, whether that’s through organizing projects, supporting youth voices, or turning ideas into action. I lead with empathy, collaboration, and a strong belief that real change starts at the community level. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and contribute in meaningful ways, and I take pride in showing up consistently for the people and causes I care about.
Separated at Birth Family Initiative
Separated At Birth Family (SABF) is a youth-led, community-based initiative that brings people from all walks of life together through conversation, games, and recreational activities. By combining storytelling with movement, fitness, and shared play in a welcoming gym space, the project creates an inclusive environment for connection, stress relief, and community building. SABF encourages people to show up as they are, build relationships, and strengthen both mental and physical well-being together.
About this Project
Communities Served
My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
The project will take place over several weeks and include planning and outreach, followed by a community gym-based event featuring facilitated conversations, games, and fitness activities. The final phase focuses on reflection, feedback, and evaluation to measure participation, community impact, and lessons learned for future initiatives.
Project Impact
The project strengthens community connection by creating an inclusive space where people from diverse backgrounds can engage in movement, play, and open conversation. By combining recreation with dialogue, it supports mental and physical well-being, reduces social isolation, and encourages empathy, belonging, and positive peer relationships within the community.
Project Mission
The project’s mission is to bring people from all walks of life together in a welcoming, youth-led space that promotes connection, wellness, and community belonging. Its goals are to encourage positive social interaction, support mental and physical well-being through recreation, and create meaningful opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and shared experiences.
Project Team
As of now the formation of my team is still underway. However, it is a close knitted community built on genuine friendships and family.
