New Care 4 New Moms: The Indigenous Doula Project Education

The Indigenous Doula Project is a small care package project that is made for expecting mothers in the community that may need extra care and supplies for when they welcome their new baby. This project is meant to show that there are so many things that mothers need to the support that they should be experiencing while they are going through the pregnancy.

Project Impact

The greatest impact created was in developing community support for these expectant and new mothers. Workshop attendees noted how valuable the information being shared was along with the network of support they built.

Project Mission

This projects mission is to show support to new moms and families and show there can be equality with not just indigenous women but all expecting women. Also this project hopes to bring more mothers together and in that they can help other expecting mothers as well.

Project Team

Our team is about 3-4 people and will be helping throughout the projects stages.
