About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

      1. Increasing the availability of community based peer support services to underserved and marginalized communities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or circumstances, has access to mental health support. 2. Continuously improve the quality and impact of our peer support programs by incorporating feedback from participants, staying updated with the latest mental health research, and providing ongoing training for peer supporters. 3. Fostering partnerships with local organizations, schools, and healthcare providers to create a robust network of support and resources for individuals facing mental health challenges. 4. Providing comprehensive training and development opportunities for peer supporters, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively assist others and grow within the organization including the establishment of a nation-wide interactive resource portal for participants.
