United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
The project runs as an 12-week Youth Creative Tech Hub in Toronto West, offering weekly hands-on workshops and open lab sessions in digital media and technology. Youth ages 12–24 learn creative and tech skills through mentorship, project-based learning, and community engagement.
Project Impact
The Youth Creative Tech Hub empowers youth in Toronto West with hands-on digital and creative skills, mentorship, and safe community space. By building confidence, leadership, and portfolio-ready projects, the program increases access to future education and employment pathways while strengthening community engagement and reducing risk through positive opportunity.
Project Mission
The Youth Creative Tech Hub empowers youth in Toronto West by providing free, hands-on training in digital media and technology within a safe, supportive space. Our goals are to increase access to creative tools, engage at least 30 youth in skill-building workshops, and foster confidence, leadership, and portfolio-ready projects that open pathways to education and employment.
