MWSBL Short Doc Series
MWSBL Short Doc Series is a documentary-style storytelling series highlighting the journeys of Muslim women and youth in basketball. Through four short films, the project explores themes of sisterhood, volunteerism, coaching, and youth talent within the Muslim Women’s Summer Basketball League (MWSBL). By centering lived experiences, the series amplifies voices often underrepresented in sport while showcasing how basketball has become a space for leadership, community building, and belonging.
