About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

Between Sep-Dec, we will be hosting in-person workshops guiding children & youth in grades 4-12 through a science activity that also incorporates the arts. This year, we are planning to expand our programming by providing activity boxes to non-profit organizations and creating instructional YouTube videos to supplement the activities included in the boxes.

      Project Impact

Last year, we supported over 30 students in Edmonton. This year, we are planning to expand our reach and support 50-100 students.

      Project Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible STEAM education & activities to young people across Edmonton; to encourage innovative, scientific imagination; and to foster an interest in STEAM among young people.

      Project Team
