How the project works
Fly Festival 3 will host five bands to play at Theatre Hill in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador on Saturday, November 2nd. The event will be free, all ages, and accessible. This event will include free snacks, drinks, and giveaways throughout the day.
Project Impact
Fly Festival is a community event that is based in arts and culture, and social justice. It is designed to be an inclusive event that has the potential to impact at-risk youth & children, persons with disabilities, vulnerable individuals (e.g. mental health, addiction, abuse), and multi-barrier populations.
Project Mission
Fly Festival's mission is to create truly inclusive events by implementing a comprehensive accessibility model that addresses physical, sensory, and financial barriers. We achieve this through intricate planning, assistive technologies, creating online resources, education, and impactful collaborations
Project Team
We both have extensive knowledge and experience with accessibility, community organizations, and executing successful events.
