Ashwini Selvakumaran
Ashwini Selvakumaran (she/her) is a dedicated community leader and founder of Brown Citizen Circle (BCC), a nonprofit empowering South Asian youth in Canada. Having lived in various countries such as Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Yemen, New York, and Canada, she has seen how poverty, gender inequality, limited access to education, and climate change intersect. These experiences have fueled a lifelong passion for youth engagement in policy-making and commitment to social and climate justice.
