Aqelah Rezai
Aqelah is a passionate youth leader with over 2,000 volunteer hours dedicated to supporting his community. she has worked and volunteered with multiple non-profit organizations including YMCA, CCS, Hijabi Ballers and several youth empowerment programs. Through these experiences, she has developed strong leadership, communication and advocacy skills. Aqelah is deeply committed to creating positive change and believes that giving back is one of the most meaningful ways to inspire others. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning and exploring new ways to contribute to her community. With a long term goal of attending medical school, she hopes to continue helping others and making a lasting impact in the health and wellness field.
Learn Share and Empower
Learn, Share and Empower is a youth led initiative that focuses on building confidence, leadership and community engagement among young people. The project provides workshops, mentorship and interactive discussions that help participants develop essential life skills and create positive change within their communities. By connecting youth with opportunities to learn and share their experiences, Learn, Share and Empower aims to inspire the next generation of leaders to make a meaningful and lasting impact by sharing their stories.

How the project works
Learn, Share and Empower operates through Bi-weekly workshops, mentorship sessions where youth learn how to narrate and write their stories. Each session focuses on different topics such as story telling, editing, creating images for the stories, leadership and mental health awareness. Participants engage in discussions, collaborations with other participants to ;earn and empower each other.
Project Impact
Learn, Share and Empower helps youth find their voice by guiding them to write and share their personal stories. Through storytelling workshops and mentorship participants build confidence, emotional awareness and communication skills. The project inspires a supportive community where youth empower one another, fostering empathy, resilience and a stronger sense of belonging.

The mission of Learn, Share and Empower is to help youth discover the power of their voices through storytelling. By providing tools, mentorship and a supportive space. The project aims to encourage self expression, build confidence and inspire young people to create positive change in their communities through the stories they share.
