How the project works
The Whale-Sized Toy Chest provided tailored "toy pods" filled with toys, books, art supplies, stickers, and other engaging items to children in hospitals, special education centers, and 2SLGBTQIA youth centers. Each pod was customized to cater to the specific needs of the partnering organizations.
Project Impact
The Whale-Sized Toy Chest has partnered with 9 organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), positively impacting over 100 children in our community. Through donations of toys, games, books, art supplies, stickers, and other enjoyable items, we have brought joy to youth in hospitals, special education centers, and 2SLGBTQIA centers.
Project Mission
The Whale-Sized Toy Chest believes that every child deserves to have fun, and we're working towards that vision one toy pod at a time.
