Reclaiming Reading
Reclaiming Reading is a youth-led initiative that supports immigrant families in preserving their heritage languages. The project develops language-learning kits with alphabet sheets, vocabulary resources, and audio recordings, alongside interactive workshops in Saskatoon, SK. By combining literacy, creativity, and community engagement, it empowers youth to reconnect with their cultural identity, strengthen intergenerational communication, and inspire others through accessible, culturally relevant learning tools.
