Ahmad Chattha

I am a student and a young community leader who cares deeply about environmental justice and health equity. Through Voice of Earth & Health Equity I want to help young people understand how the places we live in can shape our health and well being. Through storytelling and animation, I try to make these complex topics easier for youth to understand and connect with. My goal is to create space for meaningful conversations, build empathy, and encourage young people to imagine and advocate for communities where everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy life.

Voice for Earth & Health Equity

Voice of Earth & Health Equity uses storytelling and animation to help young people explore how the environment affects our health. The project introduces ideas such as clean air, access to nature, and equitable healthcare in ways that are easy for youth to understand. By sharing different community experiences, it encourages empathy and helps young people think about how healthier and more fair communities can be built.

About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

Voice of Earth & Health Equity will develop two short educational animations exploring environmental health and equity. Over five months, the project will produce the animations, review materials with an educational consultant, launch a website, and promote resources online and through printed materials to reach youth, educators, and community organizations.

      Project Impact

The project will contribute to greater awareness of environmental health challenges faced by underserved communities. By engaging youth and educators, it will help bring conversations about environmental justice and health equity into learning spaces, encouraging young people to think critically about community well being and the importance of equitable access to healthy environments.

      Project Mission

Voice of Earth & Health Equity aims to bring greater attention to the links between environmental conditions and health equity in youth learning spaces. Its goal is to develop creative resources that help educators and community groups introduce these topics and support stronger understanding of how healthier, more equitable communities can be built.

      Project Team

It consists of a small team of two to three people who are committed to environmental and health equity work.
