Adelia Davidoff
My name is Adele, I'm 20 and autistic. I'm passionate about inclusion and advocacy for autism and neurodiversity in general and my goal is to creat a community by and for neurodivergent people in Montreal as I've learned how important it is to have a community, especially for individuals who struggle to fit in in every day society
Neuro Nest
Neuro Nest is a community collective by and for neurodivergent folks, with a goal of braking social isolation and loneliness often found in said community by organizing activities and workshops with the help and guidance of the community.
About this Project
Communities Served
My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
Our project is a community collective, which means we operate and create activities and workshops based on the community's needs by using different methods like focus groups, individual talks and surveys to know what kind of activities we can provide
Project Impact
The goal of the project is to run workshops and activities to help neurodivergent folks find community, we had many messages saying thank you and asking about the future of the project
Project Mission
Our goal is to have at least 1 activity a month to provide our community members with community and routine
Project Team
As we are a collective, our team is anyone who wants to be a part of neuro nest and contribute in any way, we so far have an asl teacher, a recreational therapist, a photographer and the team is always growing
